  3. n. The angle which the plane of the dial makes with a
  4. vertical plane which it intersects in a horizontal line.
  5. n. The act or process of removing a cataract, by applying
  6. the needle to its anterior surface, and depressing it into the vitreous
  7. humor in such a way that the front surface of the cataract becomes the
  8. upper one and its back surface the lower one.
