  1. a consonant that often appears as a ligature between the elements of a compound word. It usually comes between a final nasal vowel (ą, ę, į, ǫ) and a suffix that begins with a vowel. The nasal vowel(s) lose the nasal mark when followed by -n.^(一個輔音，經常作為複合詞成分之間的連字出現。它通常出現在最後一個鼻音元音（ą, ę, į, ǫ）和一個以元音開頭的後綴之間。鼻音元音在後面跟-n時會失去鼻音標記。)
