擬聲詞，num、num-num 的變體。2004年出現 om nom、om nom nom 的形式，從2007年起在網路用語中普及，並在2010年獲得美國方言學會的「年度詞彙」第二名。源自《芝麻街》中餅乾怪獸（Cookie Monster）的口頭禪，如在〈C Is For Cookie〉（1971年）結尾處吞食餅乾時發出的聲音。然而，直到2009年，這個詞仍被規範地拼寫為帶有「u」的形式，例如在〈S is for School!〉（2006年）中拼為「num num」，或在第40季（2009年）的新聞稿中拼為「un num num num num」；直到2013年，才變成了現在流行的 nom。
